Review & Buy Croozer Mini Bicycle Trailer

I apply this doggie trailer to tote my two cocker spaniels to the beach. They match in pretty tightly, although even they are smaller than the average cocker. One weighs 20 lbs and the other 24 and they can lie side by side but there is no room between. They are able to get up and turn around and sometimes ride looking out in opposite directions. You will not be able to pull this in soft sand. You might be able to apply it on hard sand but I have never tried it. It does add appreciable weight to your ride...you understand it is back there. Of course, this is relative to the weight of your pet. If you purchase this, put a towel under it when assembling therefore you do not damage the nylon cover on rough surfaces. This is extremely expensive but because it is designed for animals, it is what you necessitate. I tried to adapt a child's bike trailer and discovered which it would not work, especially because it did not have a rigid floor.

We buy this for our two Chihuahuas. They get also tired walking down to the Chicago lakefront, therefore we bought this. After my husband assembled it, they both jumped correct in! They were a little apprehensive regarding the movement, but have because gotten applied to it. The wheels are solid and sturdy, as is the frame, making for a smooth ride for them behind our bikes. With the screen, they are enclosed but can see and smell overall we pass!

This has added therefore much convenience to including our dogs in our weekends and travel. extremely nice size. Easy to use, and extremely sturdy. We have two toy fox terriers ( 11 1/2 lbs and 6 lbs )and they both match in goodly with a little room to move around and stretch their legs. I can pick up the whole thing with them in it and set them in the back of the car. I just lock the wheels and it is a travel crate. When we get where we are going I just pick it up and hook it up to the bike or put the stroller handle on and off we go. Fantastic product.

This little Croozer is fantastic for a small dog. Our dog is merely 25lbs but he cannot stand up or although sit whole the way up inside it. He can comfortably lie down but it is not extremely big. It seems well constructed, and sturdy. It is super convenient to pull behind the bike and feels extremely safe and stable. The attachment system to couple the trailer with the bike is convenient to apply and the trailer moves really well behind the bike. It is nice looking, and has a flat plastic floor. There is no padding at whole therefore you'll want to add a foam pad or blanket or something. We haven't applied it as a stroller, but it does accompany with the parts to be tailored or strollered. It comes almost perfectly assembled, you just attach the wheels and unfold it...that is fantastic. The material is a tough kind of canvassy nylon and is not waterproof. Without some type of cover, in the rain, water from your bike tire would go correct in the window of the trailer and your pet would get cold and wet pretty quick.

I buy the Mini Croozer for my dachshund terrier mix who has a bad back and cannot truly "take a walk" (one which leaves the neighborhood)

The mini croozer is awesome! He enjoys to ride in it, he can see what is going on every where and it keeps the over zealous little guy from jumping out when he gets excited.

THe mini croozer is extremely well made. The merely thing I discover a tad annoying is which the front wheel is plastic. It would be a bit better if it were a real tire (like the rest)

I have yet to apply it as a bike trailer - (it is still a bit cool out for bike riding)

We have a 12 pound Havenese and a seasonal home on Sanibel. We go everywhere on bike and necessitated to take our dog. We considered putting him in a front basket, but this made the bike unstable. The Croozer mini trailer is just the correct size and convenient to pull. The trailer can too be applied for groceries as well. It was convenient to assemble and folds flat for storage. We highly recommend.

UPDATE: After using the mini trailer for 4 weeks, the left tire (viewed from the rear) spun off while on a bike ride. The axles both have correct handed threads therefore the left tire axle will want to loosen as you ride and the correct tire axle will want to tighten. The left tire axle should have a left handed (reverse) thread (like bicycle pedals do). I contacted Croozer and their engineers are aware of this design flaw. There is no fix at this time. They recommend checking the tightness of the axle before every ride.
