I can see other cycling shorts much more expensive than
these. I cant see why. These are completely fine, comfortable, have had no
issues which I can speak of. I lost 35 pounds because I buy these and they
still match fine.
I bought these in the shorts style and the bib style. I
absolutely enjoy Both! I was worried which the shorts would slide down around
the waist, but they match completely and do not move at all. My merely wish is which
the padding would go a little further back.. The merely time this is a trouble
is while I am sitting up correct while ridding (that rarely happens.)
I'm 5'9 and 169 pounds and buy the size large and the match
is nearly complete. They're not also tight and certainly not loose. The length
is good and long like I like it and hits just above my knees. I does ride a
little high in the waist but I always have a shirt over it therefore which's
not an issue. The fabric feels fantastic and the chamois makes a world of
difference when riding my road bike. The price is correct ($35) therefore I
ended up purchasing another pair.
I discover these to be extremely comfortable and have no
issues with walking around in them. They are a comfortable ride and I like which
they keep the moisture away from your bottom. I recommend these for anyone who
rides regularly... I wear them everyday. I plan to purchase two more pair.
Ordered these shorts on the advice of a cycling co-worker.
Man these shorts are a huge improvement over the current shorts I own. I'm
gonna order a couple more pairs of these things. I ride a hybrid bike with a
straight bar that puts me into a more upright riding position than the people
with drop down bars. The padding in my other shorts is placed also far forward
for me to realize it's entire benematch. The padding in these Pearl's extends
further to the rear that is definitely what I was looking for in a riding
short. The Pearl's extend my rides since my butt doesn't get as sore as with
the others. Curious to see how long the padding retains it's shape and
function.
I just got these shorts on Wednesday and have rode regarding
50 miles in them. At first they felt bloated and hard to walk in, but after one
ride and 1 washing, they have become extremely comfortable to both ride and
walk in. The price was hard to beat and these shorts appear to be of extremely high
quality. Not merely are they comfortable, but they are extremely cool
(literally) on these 90 degree+ days. My legs stay dry and free from sweat. The
pants do not ride up on my legs or my waste. I gave them 4 stars since quite
frankly, I have nothing to compare them with and I haven't applied them
extremely long yet. therefore far, therefore nice. Will be wearing them on the
ride across Iowa next week and may review once more after which.
The pad is extremely comfortable at PREVENTNG Heat sores.
The material is nice besides the exclusive length on back of shorts. My bicycle
is my main transportation. I average 20-45 miles in a day. I apply my bike to
get to places other then just riding around for fun and the exercise.
First I am a cycling neophyte. I buy these shorts to assist
with pain while getting applied to being on the saddle for extended periods,
and to help with numbness in the groin. I must say they have accomplished both,
and I discover the compression on my thighs assists with my leg fatigue. The
material transfers heat and moisture well. In fact I now have two pair. I would
say they are fantastic beginner shorts and from what I discovered fantastic
budget shorts as well. Lastly, I discovered the match to be spot on with my
sizing.
I just lately got into cycling and have never owned a pair
of cycling shorts before, therefore I don't have any product to compare these
to. However, I enjoy these. I just finished a 15 and 65 mile ride (back to back
within 12 hours) and had no troubles with these shorts! They look, feel, and
perform fantastic!
I discovered these shorts just browsing through the endless
amounts of shorts on amazon. They got pretty nice reviews and I liked how they
were a little longer then most other shorts. I ordered a size medium and they
came in, I tried them on and they were a little snug. Nothing I couldn’t live
with, but I would suggest going a size up. I will order another pair in a large
and apply both sets.
Being extremely new to cycling I have little experience to
be an expert voice, but I must say the Pearl Izumi Quest shorts are proving to
be a fantastic investment for me. I've been using them for regarding 15 - 18
rides mostly around the 15 mile range, and they have performed well, they stay
put and the padding is adequate, maybe could stand to be a bit heavier but for
the money I'd say they are superb. I gave merely 4 stars since I have nothing
else to compare them to and I imagine which shorts in the 80 - 100 dollar range
would be far superior but I have no hard data on which. I have read some of the
poor reviews (crotch rot, poor quality, chafing, etc.) and I can attest which
I've had none of these issues, probably since I wash them after every ride (no
crotch issues here) and I apply body glide to help the chamois prevent chafing.
I like these shorts therefore much I just ordered another pair!!!! whole my
Pearl Iz items have performed fantastic and seem to be extremely durable!!
I'm a novice cyclist and these worked complete for me. The
sizing was correct on. Perhaps for a skinnier individual the back would stick
out the back, but my wife doesn't notice it sticking out. I wear these under
gym shorts for my 4 mile ride to work and leave them on under my work pants
whole day. They do feel weird the first time you put them on but you get
applied to it. They make a big difference if your route is bumpy.
This is the second pair of bike shorts I bought and I enjoy
them. They have plenty of padding, but not therefore much which it's like
wearing a diaper; it has the correct amount: not also much, not also little.
Have small rubbery beads on the inside bottoms along the seams just sufficient
to keep it from riding up your legs too. extremely worthwhile buy, and can't
beat this price!
This is my second pair of these shorts. Last year I buy the
first pair and have had fantastic success. They have held up well to many miles
on the bike and many washes. They are comfortable and the padding has stayed in
nice shape. I would recommend these shorts.
